My stay at the lodge was enjoyable overall, highlighted by the beautiful grounds and charming atmosphere. However, I found the amenities to be somewhat lacking, especially with the absence of an in-house washer/dryer and limited dining options. While it’s a great spot for relaxation and skiing, it may not be ideal for families with little kids due to the extra costs for activities. Overall, I would consider returning.

The rooms had a lovely mountain view and were comfortable, but I was disappointed to find no mini-fridge available unless I requested one.

The staff were very pleasant and accommodating, though they sometimes felt a bit rushed, which affected their friendliness.

The location is gorgeous, set in a beautiful mountain lodge that really allows you to unwind and connect with nature.
Dining

Dining options were a bit pricey for what was offered, and I was hoping for more variety, especially in breakfast items.

The Trapp Family Lodge offers a beautiful property with spacious rooms and stunning valley views, perfect for winter activities like skiing. However, some amenities felt outdated, and the dining experience could be improved, especially given the price point of the accommodations. While outdoor hot tub access was a unique experience, the overall service could use more attention to detail.

Rooms

Our room was spacious and had amazing valley views, but it felt a bit outdated and featured some issues with exterior doors needing repairs.
Service

The dining service was decent, but there were noticeable gaps in attention, like not refilling water promptly or not engaging with us during our meal.
Location
9.0
The lodge is situated away from the main roads, which adds to its charm and appeal for those seeking relaxation or outdoor activities.
Dining

Dinner in the Main Lodge Dining Room was nice, but the food could use more variety, and breakfast was good without being remarkable.

The fitness center was a highlight, and I enjoyed the hot tub despite the inconvenience of crossing the street.

I had mixed feelings about my stay. The location was absolutely beautiful and perfect for relaxation, but the overall experience was marred by outdated facilities and extra fees for nearly everything. While some staff were friendly and responsive, the dining options fell short in quality and variety. The room had potential but lacked proper upkeep, leaving me somewhat disappointed.

The room felt outdated and was in need of maintenance, with paint peeling and inadequate features that made it inconvenient.
Service

While some staff members were friendly and offered help, it was frustrating to encounter additional charges for what should have been included in the stay.
Location

The hotel is set in a beautiful area with scenic views, but it's quite spread out and challenging to navigate, especially with mobility issues.
Dining
5.0
The breakfast buffet was pretty mediocre for the price, with limited options and dishes that didn't taste fresh.
Facilities

The amenities like the pool and tennis courts were nice perks, but the poorly maintained conditions and accessibility made it hard to enjoy them fully.

I had a wonderful stay at the Trapp Family Lodge, enjoying the charming blend of luxury and country feel. The grounds were absolutely beautiful with lovely views, and the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive. The only downside was that the guest house we stayed in hadn't been updated yet, which affected the overall comfort. However, the activities and the food really made up for it, providing great value for our family vacation.

Our guest house was spacious with stunning views, but it could use some renovations as we noticed peeling wallpaper and worn carpets.

I had a memorable stay surrounded by stunning mountain views, but not everything was perfect. The rooms were spacious yet dated and the service didn't quite match the hotel’s charm. While I enjoyed the beer hall dinner, the main dining room left much to be desired, especially with the uninspired meal we had. Overall, a mixed experience with some enjoyable moments, but with areas needing improvement.
